Psalms and Affirmations

Saturday downtown walk  with friends

I've recently had a conversation with some friends that touched a lot on the power of the book of Psalms in the Bible. How it covers the spawn of human emotions, feelings, pains and joys. There is really a Psalm for everything.
Well while looking for some specific Psalms, I stumbled upon a website that extracted positive affirmations from most of the Psalms. This is from a Christian perspective.

Today I meditated on Psalms 55 and the affirmations from that are:

TODAY I AM

having my prayers and supplications heard
calling upon God
saved by the LORD
praying
heard by God
delivered by God
casting my burden upon the LORD
sustained by God
not moved
trusting in God

From the site:
Here's the secret. Meditating on the Psalms can help us daily to have whatever we need to “stay in the present -- in the moment,” and to be prepared for whatever we may encounter on any given day. Faith in times of disbelief. Trust in times of disobedience. Wisdom in times of confusion.Forgiveness in times of trespassing. Inner peace in times of turmoil and distress. Joy in times of sorrow. Comfort in times of lost. Strength in times of weakness. Victory in times of defeat.
